The company has in-house testing labs and a research & development setup. According to Vishal Bakshi, managing director, V.R. Industries, the company's expert food technologists continuously improve the existing range's quality and create newer products through innovative ideas. He adds, "Our R&D team worked tirelessly to create gluten-free muesli and cornflakes in-house. We feel proud that we are the only company in India that is manufacturing these two variants. Currently, we have over twenty recipes of muesli, seven variants of cornflakes, and over fifteen recipes of trail mix & nut mix, and the list continues."

A new age for the F&B industry

Food is essential for the sustenance of life, and the industry will always grow. As per the research and markets report, the global food and beverages market reached a value of nearly five billion dollars in 2019 and has increased at a compound annual growth rate of 5.7% since 2015.

Bakshi states, "The pandemic and the recent disruptions of Russia and Ukraine have taught the world how venerable we all are. Supply chain disruptions across the globe have increased food prices and created a situation of scarcity of essential food products in many countries. As far as India is concerned, the mantra of Atmanirbhar Bharat has helped crop production is toughing new records. Being self-dependent is the best way to sustain."
