Scholle IPN – Bossar showcases total flexible packaging solutions at PackEx India

Scholle IPN & Bossar Packaging offers total packaging solutions and introduces innovation and value-added products in flexible packaging, such as Films (recyclable structures), Fitments (closures), and Fillers (Bag-in-Box for Retail, Institutional & Industrial applications along with HFFS machines). The company caters to all flexible packaging requirements of pharmaceutical, FMCG, food & beverage, etc.

At Scholle IPN, flexible packaging is just – Simply Flexible. Scholle IPN engineer barrier films, ergonomic fitments and state-of-the-art filling equipment to create total flexible packaging solution. To cater Indian market needs Scholle IPN has established its manufacturing unit in Palghar to produce Fitments & Bag-in-Box product range.

Bossar Packaging belongs to Scholle IPN group, is based out of Barcelona Spain, has been manufacturing Horizontal Form Fill and Seal (HFFS) and Pick Fill Seal (PFS) machines for flexible packaging since 1992. To cater to the needs of the Indian market, it established its first out of Europe manufacturing facility in Pune, which to date has manufactured over 25 machines from the Chakan Pune plant.

Scholle IPN and Bossar together aimed to provide leading-edge technologies that enable them to manufacture a complete range of sustainable packaging solutions for its customers. The combined business (Scholle IPN – Bossar) has operations across Europe, Russia, China, India, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Canada and the United States.

Scholle IPN – Bossar aims to remain competitive while utilizing internal and external resources to impact their employees, communities, and the Earth positively. Speaking of Scholle IPN – Bossar, Mr Vijay Prabhudesai, Director – Operations Bossar Packaging India, said, "For Scholle IPN – Bossar, sustainability is a journey, not an end. Bossar Packaging had grown significantly within a short span and made a remarkable presence in Indian pharmaceutical, FMCG & food segments. In year 2021, Bossar Packaging, under Made in India initiative, manufactured 4 state-of-the-art machines. These 4 machines are – BHS 3.2, a complete servo high speed Quadruplex HFFS machine to produce small sachets with top spout for packing creams & lotions; BMK 1600, a duplex HFFS machine to produce a complete shaped pouch with zip lock for packing mouth fresheners; Pick Fill Seal Machine (PFS) for packing liquids hand & dish wash in a pre-made spouted pouches (High Volume up to 2 lit); and a Rotary Filling Machine (RFM) for filling hot fill juices through the spout.

Further, Bossar Packaging plans to launch Pick Fill Seal Machine for RETORT Pouches application soon.

Scholle IPN – Bossar at PackEx India

Scholle IPN-Bossar showcased its total packaging solutions at PackEx India from 2 to 4 December 2021 at Pragati Maidaan, India. Speaking of the experience at the exhibition, Desai said, "We have been participating in this exhibition for a very long time and it's always been a great experience to be a part of PackEx. We are delighted to see the kind of response we have received from other exhibitors and the business visitors." According to him, these exhibitions are really good and essential for the industry players because they bring quite a good business opportunity.
