Since its inception in 2010, Gallant Engineering has been providing packaging as well as plumbing solutions to FMCG and pharmaceutical companies. It has successfully implemented rotary filling technology for various applications in the food, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals industry, to broaden the company’s horizon and provide customers with a complete end-to-end solution.

Elaborating on how the company rapidly became a trusted brand amongst customers, Abhijit Salpe, director, Gallant Engineering, says, “We deal with standard pouches, pre-made pouches, and I’d like to inform our readers that the technology offered is developed completely in-house. So, we make machines which can provide high levels of output with minimum inputs from the manual side or any other machines.”

Identifying customer needs and R&D

Salpe shares, “Being a performance-oriented company driven by unflattering work ethics delivering products that epitomize futuristic design philosophies, state of art manufacturing, and quality throughout its lifecycle.”

Impact of the pandemic on the food sector

Sharing about how the company had flourished during the pandemic, Salpe says, “We were quite lucky to be busy and occupied during the pandemic when every individual was limited to their homes. But since the lockdown, we have also observed a shift in the industry. As there has been an increased demand for automation. Companies prefer to rely on automated machines now which traditionally have been in a manual process.”
