Established in 2008, Siddhivinayak Agri Processing has been a disruptive player in the Potato ecosystem. Starting from producing high quality and innovative variety of seeds and providing potato storage & supply solutions to engineering best-in-class processing technologies, Siddhivinayak Agri Processing is a player well known globally.

Through two primary business divisions - Agri and Engineering, the company continue its efforts to revolutionize the potato ecosystem. SV Agri-Business Division claims to have the best storage solutions and a nationwide delivery network through which it makes available process-grade potatoes to the process industry around the year. 

Dialing up in detail, Avijit Majumdar, chief executive officer of Siddhivinayak Agri Processing, says, “We specialize in potatoes, so we started on the supply chain side and then gradually expanded into an end-to-end supply chain right from the production of seed in India. Proprietary seed, as well as our CPRA, and then we store them in cold storage solutions where shelf life can be increased for the potatoes. Commercially offering these product solutions and have they incorporated in our facilities.”

He added, “Through Engineering Business Division, we engineer and manufacture a wide range of processing equipment for pre-processing, processing, and post-processing potato-based and other western and Indian traditional snacks. Be it potato grading, snacks production, flavoring systems, packing distribution, or state-of-the-art conveying systems, we do it all.” 

Siddhivinayak Agri Processing also has an engineering division that tries to understand the problems or bottlenecks of any food processing company. That is across potato and non-potato processing, and then the company provides them with solutions in consulting summer equipment solutions and strategic partners around the world in Europe.

During the pandemic 

“The company creates constant innovation regardless of the pandemic and is market and consumer demand based. On the other hand, sales took some hits as delivery supply got delayed due to hiccups faced in machine parts imports. But keeping the positive attitude, the company waved the flag and picked up the pace at an equally quick with the company getting patents and composing sales on track,” Majumdar shares.

Majumdar says, “We are keen on sharing all its machinery services under one roof mentioned. We are glad to see more and more exposure to our Indian business communities. Although I couldn’t make the time to visit each stall myself given the constant approach by genuine buyers, I could glance and find some renowned names in the industry from technologists to technologies available here.”

They also believe that loads of Indian companies will benefit as they learn about modern and latest technologies to mix with their rich heritage and traditions. He added, “We increase their efficiency and the quality of the product, as post-pandemic India has emerged as one of the completely competitive countries for export. So I believe everyone should make the most of this platform as coming here is what makes the change. This expo is where the future of technology is available at a reasonable price.”
