He adds, “MTS Foods delivers comprehensive solutions for food processing through exclusive alliances with global stalwarts in equipment, process, and technology. These include Vanmark, Tomra, FAM, and several class-leading technologies and solution providers from around the world. VANMARK specializes in providing peeling and conveying solutions, FAM in providing cutting and slicing solutions, and TOMRA in providing sorting and peeling solutions.”

A holistic approach to addressing the market requirements

Menon believes that the Indian food industry is rapidly picking up the trend of automation to stay afloat in the market. To expand the progress, there is a dire need to make the process more effortless and efficient.

He goes on to say, “MTS Foods brought the holistic approach to address the requirements of the market through the strategic alliances with the global stalwarts in equipment, process, and technology and provide the integrated solutions to further increase the efficacy of the industry.”

He informed us that MTS Foods has three demo labs in Bangalore where its principles are constantly developing applications to satisfy the changing dynamic demands of Indian agriculture.

Recalibrating post the pandemic

Menon commented that the pandemic that swept the country caused some degree of interruption in every industry. He adds, “As the food processing sector in India recalibrates to take advantage of the industry's enhanced potential and keeps its ears open for new markets, the post-pandemic future looks promising. The demand for processed foods is expected to increase exponentially in rural regions and Tier 2/3 cities, which bodes well for the business. Additionally, there is still a lot of unrealized potentials to expand.”

Taking part in the upcoming ANUTEC- International FoodTec India 2022

Looking forward to participating in the ANUTEC event, Menon says, “This platform will help us reinforce our relationships with the existing customers and our principles on a common platform and also to showcase our new technologies to the customers.”
