Adani Wilmar launches ‘Fortune Online’ mobile app

A one-stop shop for all Fortune products has been rolled out in 17 cities

Now, it is easier than ever to order your favorite Fortune products. Adani Wilmar, which offers a range of edible oils and food products under the Fortune brand, has launched its own mobile application - Fortune Online - offering a one-stop solution to customers for their kitchen needs.

Commenting on this new launch, Angshu Mallick, chief executive officer, and managing director, Adani Wilmar, said, “The mobile app is another feather in Adani Wilmar’s hat and reiterates our customer-oriented approach. The app has been launched at a time when more and more customers prefer to buy groceries online, especially since the Covid-19 pandemic broke out last year. The app allows customers to buy from the whole range of Fortune products and get it safely delivered at their doorsteps at attractive prices.”

According to him, Fortune products will continue to be available on various eCommerce platforms, modern retail, and provision stores. At present, customers in 17 towns including, Ahmedabad, Gandhidham, Pune, Akola, Gurugram, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Noida, Panchkula, Mohali, Kanpur, Kolkata, Indore, Jodhpur, Raipur, Bengaluru and Hyderabad can place orders for Fortune oils and its range of food and personal care products using the app, which is available on Android, iOS, and Website www.fortuneonline.in.

In less than a month since the app was launched, it has been downloaded more than 11,000 times so far. Mallick added, “We will be rolling out the app in other key markets in the coming days,” added Mallick.”

In addition to a range of edible oils, customers can also buy Rice, Soya Nuggets, Atta, Besan, Suji, Pulses, ready-to-cook Khichdi, and Soya Chunkies Sugar, and Maida from the app. A range of soaps and recently launched handwash and sanitizer of Alife brand, which is another brand owned by Adani Wilmar, will also be available on the app.

Once the order is placed, the products are delivered with no delivery charges taken from the consumers. The deliveries are completed within 2 to 3 days. Customers are eligible to get a gift on their first order. There are exclusive combos available, and consumers can avail of discounts up to 45% on products ordered from the application. The application has a convenient and user-friendly interface. “We have also adhered to all the safety parameters such as cashless transaction as the application includes multiple payment options, contactless delivery, and the delivery personnel follows all safety protocols too,” he added.
