Groovy invests Rs 5 Crores to set up third manufacturing plant in Telangana

Made in India beverage start-up, Groovy Juices, has set up its third factory in Telangana with an investment of Rs 5 crores. The company, whose other two units are in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttrakhand, has set up a 50000 Sq. Ft, fully automated manufacturing plant in Greater Hyderabad area. The new manufacturing plant will be a state-of-the-art, digitally enabled, carbonation lines installed, smart factory to manufacture 12000 juice pouches/hour in two variants- Rs 10/pouch and Rs 20/pouch.

The leadership team has already infused Rs 5 Crores to setup the manufacturing plant and plans to invest another Rs 15 Crores over 12 months time to expand their presence in South and East India. The latest lines will include 6 Groovy juice flavours- Mango, Guava, Anar, Lychee, Mixed fruit and Mint-o-lemon and the new product in line- Groovy Bubbles.

On the investment front, Mitkaran Singh Ghai and Rajneesh Sharma, co-founders, Enhaz Beverages said, “We run with a vision of “Made in India, made for the world” and want to offer international quality standard fruit juices to everyone in India without using any colours, preservatives and artificial sweeteners yet affordable. This investment is a showcase of our growth and we want to take it higher in the upcoming times.”

Groovy also plan to set up a dedicated team of people comprising procurement, R&D, sales and marketing to upscale the quality and innovation in the fruit juice industry. For this, they have aimed to hire 200 employees from the local community of which Women will constitute 50% of the workforce at the new factory.
