Manga Srinivas Foods International, recognized for its commitment to producing and promoting nutritious foods, including millet-based products, has been awarded the ‘Young Milletpreneur of the Year’ category at the Poshak Anaaj Awards 2024. The award was presented to Manideep Kavali, chief executive officer and managing director of Manga Srinivas Foods by The Hon'ble Agriculture Minister, Govt. of Karnataka, Sri N. Chaluvarayaswamy on the third day of the International Nutri-Cereal Convention (INCC) 6.0, held on October 19th and organised by Nutrihub and the ICAR-Indian Institute of Millets Research at Novotel, HICC, Hyderabad.

Manga Srinivas Foods has received commendations from prominent leaders, including the Governor of Jharkhand and the Government of Telangana. The company is actively investing in R&D to develop international millet-based recipes, focusing on combating malnutrition through its EATFULL brand's energy bars and cookies.

The company has established itself with several brands, notably Millet Factory and EATFULL. Millet Factory, a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), specializes in healthy millet-based dishes, including Millet Pizza, Millet Ice Cream, and Millet Thali. EATFULL focuses on retail, offering a diverse range of instant millet-based mixes, cookies, and energy bars that prioritize high millet content, addressing the growing consumer demand for nutritious snacks.

On receiving the award, Manideep Kavali, chief executive officer and managing director of Manga Srinivas Foods, stated, “I’m honored to receive this award, which recognizes the company's commitment to producing and promoting millet products. This inspires us to continue our efforts as we expand our EATFULL brand into non-millet food categories. Our Millet Factory is also growing, recently launching a new outlet at Value Zone Hyper Mart in Patancheruvu. With plans for new physical locations and franchise opportunities, we aim to open one outlet per month in cities like Hyderabad.”

The Poshak Anaaj Award honors innovative contributions from millet entrepreneurs in the startup ecosystem, promoting diverse startups nationwide. The event brought together distinguished leaders, including IAS officers, chief secretaries, board chairpersons, CEOs, and scientists from government and corporate sectors, such as ICAR, Nutrihub, and NABARD. Additionally, notable startups exhibiting at INCC included PepsiCo, Marico, Troo Good, and Babe Burp.
