Markem-Imaje introduces dual language support to print and apply 2200 series

Upgrade allows for full operation with both Markem-Imaje’s proprietary CoLOS solution or direct communication with ZPL (trademarked by Zebra Technologies Corporation) emulation

Markem-Imaje, the global provider of end-to-end supply chain solutions and industrial marking and coding systems, has introduced Dual Language Support to their Print and Apply 2200 Series. The upgrade allows for full operation with both Markem-Imaje’s proprietary CoLOS solution or direct communication with ZPL emulation, facilitating immediate integration of the 2200 Series into legacy software systems.

The Dual Language Support enables customers to directly connect to existing architecture with the ZPL emulator.

The market-leading 2000 Series offers a broad range of end-of-line Print and Apply labeling solutions from simple case and pallet labeling through high-speed front-of-pack or multi-side. With full GS1 compliance, the 2200 Series has been recognized as an operator-friendly solution, supporting optimized efficiency with a simple user interface, a minimized label change time of 40 seconds, and competent operation with fewer than five minutes of training.
