Medusa Beverages launches beer in Himachal Pradesh

The brand is launched in Shimla, McLeodGanj, and Manali

New Delhi-based Medusa Beverages owns the beer brand – Medusa, announces Medusa Beer's launch in Himachal Pradesh. According to the company statement, the brand is launched in Shimla, McLeodGanj, and Manali. Clocking in sales of three lakh cases on their first year in Delhi itself, Medusa has become one of the fastest beer-growing companies, the company said. They recently bagged an award in the category of 'Fastest growing brand' in the beer segment at the Spiritz Achievers award 2019.

Medusa is based in India with a national marketing division and eccentric and contemporary packaging. The beer is available in about 650 retail outlets in Delhi and some of the high-end café in retail outlets with a distribution width of 90%. The brand is available in more than 2000 retail outlets, with the brewery located in Punjab.

Expressing the thoughts on the expansion of the venture Mr Avneet Singh, founder, Medusa Beverages, said, "The beer industry is growing at par with the modernizing taste of the consumers, thus becoming more of a lifestyle beverage. I am elated that we can take Medusa to Himachal and hope to receive similar love for the brand as we have received in other parts of the country. With this power and recognition, we are really looking forward to being a PAN India participant in our further business expansion plans."

Medusa was first launched in 2018, and within a span of two years, the brand has already witnessed exponential growth reaching a turnover of 150 crore. The brand is currently available in six states, including Delhi, UP, Punjab, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, and now in Himachal Pradesh, and growing multifold.
