Omnia Technologies, a leading platform for processing automation and bottling technologies for the spirits, wine, beverage, dairy and pharma industries, has announced a strategic Joint Venture with Economy Process Solutions, India’s leading provider of vacuum systems and process equipment. Headquartered in Pune, the Joint Venture aims to be the leading provider of processing and packaging equipment for Indian companies operating across the beverage and pharma value chains.

Omnia Technologies, headquartered in Treviso (Italy), generates a consolidated turnover of over €700 million, with 37 production sites, 24 commercial offices and approximately 2,500 employees. The project was born in 2020 through the combination of well-known brands such as Della Toffola, Bertolaso, TMCI Padovan, Frilli, ACMI, Comas, Tecnomaco and several other strategic and complementary businesses.

Economy Process Solutions, headquartered in Mumbai with manufacturing facilities in Chakan, Pune, has been a key partner of Omnia Technologies for almost three decades. The company has worked in promoting the Della Toffola brand since 1996, starting with brewery filtration units and later expanding in the winery and filtration markets, establishing Della Toffola as market leader in the industry.

This Joint Venture aims to achieve long-term growth, driven by Omnia Technologies’ technological leadership and Economy Process Solutions’ engineering expertise and deep knowledge of the Indian market. As a part of this Joint Venture, a Centre of Excellence will be established in Pune. The plant will allow the Joint Venture to better serve Indian customers, while local engineering and manufacturing capabilities will allow it to offer solutions across the beverage, pharmaceutical, and dairy sectors dedicated for the Indian market.

“This partnership is a game-changer for both Omnia Technologies and Economy Process Solutions. Combining our global technology and high-end expertise with our partner’s local manufacturing strength and knowledge of the Indian market, we are setting a new benchmark in advanced processing, bottling and packaging technologies for the region. India is an extremely dynamic market, which demands constant innovation: we are here to lead the way,” Andrea Stolfa, chief executive officer of Omnia Technologies commented.

Rajesh Ahuja, founder and chief executive officer of Economy Process Solutions said, “Our partnership signs a new era of growth and innovation. This Joint Venture enables us to offer world-class solutions at competitive costs, strengthens our capabilities and enhances employment. By leveraging India's local competitive engineering capabilities, the partnership will boost domestic production, making advanced automation and bottling technologies more accessible to Indian companies. Additionally, the creation of a Centre of Excellence will foster innovation and skill development, further strengthening the country's industrial ecosystem and contributing to economic growth.”

Ahead of its official launch in December 2024, this Joint Venture made its debut at Drink Technology India 2024, a key industry event taking place in Mumbai from October 23 to 25.

At the event, Omnia Technologies is showcasing its latest machinery for processing, bottling, and packaging in Hall 1, Booth D-11.
