Manufacturing companies are currently facing a multitude of challenges - maintaining profitable growth while improving resilience, agility, and sustainability. They are also struggling to address workforce shortages and supply chain issues simultaneously. The impact of the pandemic, inflation, and supply chain disruption hindered growth in 2022, while inflationary pressures have risen in 2023. To address these challenges, manufacturers are making strategic investments in industrial automation and digital transformation solutions to reduce risks, create new opportunities, and remain competitive.

The 8th Annual State of Smart Manufacturing Report by Rockwell Automation, a survey of 1,353 global manufacturers, revealed that 97% of respondents are currently implementing or planning to implement smart manufacturing technology within the next one to two years.

The combination of these solutions can help leaders prioritize the fundamental aspects of their business, such as improving manufacturing and supply chain visibility as well as customer experience and satisfaction.
