Karan Sahni highlighted the company’s journey, stating, "Ever since inception in 1968, SSP Packaging Industries, with a focus on manufacturing liquid packaging machinery, has emerged as SS Group, which today symbolizes international quality in India and across the world. The company was founded by Mr. Satnam Singh, who now serves as the Chairman of SS Group. His son, Mr. Pardeep Singh, the Managing Director of SS Group, leads the company today. Sahni emphasized their leadership, saying, "They are closely working together with the team at 'SS' to provide their customers with technologically driven, reliable, and accurate packaging solutions, which gives 'SS' a lead over other players in the packaging industry."

Innovative exhibits at PackMach Asia Expo

SSP Packaging Industries will showcase several cutting-edge machines at PackMach Asia Expo taking place from 23 to 25 October 2024 at Bombay Exhibition Center (BEC), Mumbai. Sahni shared details of the exhibits, including:

• Isobaric Filler 50x50x15: "An isobaric filling machine works on a thermodynamic process in which the pressure remains constant. In the case of isobaric filling, a back pressure similar to the one present inside the supply tank is generated inside the bottle, in order to perform a fast and effective filling. We are able to propose clients Isobaric machines with higher-than-average performance levels, foamless or controlled foam filling even at temperatures of around 15°C. This technology is implemented not only to fill glass bottles using a traditional system, but also PET bottles using a Neck Handling system."

• Combibloc (Blow-Fill-Seal) – 10x50x15: "Blow Fill Cap technology represents an advanced method of manufacturing wherein a container is formed, filled, and sealed through a continuous and automated system. In this rotary type blowing machine, the contiform is heated and then blown into bottles by a high-pressure jet of air. The container is then filled and sealed with caps using a pick-and-place mechanism with magnetic capping heads."

• Robotic Palletizer: "It uses the latest technology advanced Codian D5 Robot for unscrambling and loading of bottles in pucks. Designed for high speed and performance, this one-of-a-kind machine is capable of loading any shape and size of bottles on the pucks. The robot picks the bottles and transfers them into the pucks on the parallel running worm conveyor."

Sahni acknowledged the importance of platforms like PackMach Asia Expo in achieving business goals. "PackMach Asia Expo is an exhibition for the packaging and processing industry.
