The global plant-based foods market is skyrocketing. Lifestyle diseases like diabetes, high cholesterol, and hypertension encourage consumers to switch to a healthy diet. Incorporating plant-based foods into the diet can be a step toward better health, and this is precisely what is increasing the demand for such foods.

One of the leading soy product suppliers in India, Vezlay Foods was one of the first organizations to introduce soy food with a non-vegetarian texture. The company manufactures innovative, ready-to-eat soy food products with the same texture as non-vegetarian foods. Vezlay products are rich in proteins and dietary fiber, offer a good source of calcium, and have a low cholesterol level. A wide range of meat-free alternatives such as Soya Seekh Kabab, Soya Shawarma, Plant-Based Sausage, Plant-Based Burger grill tikki, Veg Crispy Lollipop, Egg Bhurji (vegan scrambled egg), Shami Kabab, Nugget, Soya Chop, Soya Leg Pieces, Soya Noodles (Gluten-Free), Soya Vegget TVP (textured vegetable protein) (Gluten-Free) and Soya Chikka is available for consumers eager to adopt a plant-based lifestyle.

Reducing environmental impact

Amit Bajaj, owner and founder, Vezlay Foods, believes that consuming plant-based protein can help us lead a healthy life with minimal environmental impact. This is what pushes Vezlay Foods to constantly innovate and work towards developing products that taste delicious and give consumers the meat-like texture they like. He said, “Our products stem from intensive research, and we make sure that they are nutritious and a delight to the tastebuds. We offer plant-based protein modern-style foods for the health-conscious consumers that aid their journey toward a healthier, more sustainable future.”

Vezlay impresses all at AAHAR 2023

Vezlay Foods participated in the recently concluded AAHAR- International Food and Hospitality Fair 2023, held from 14 to 18 March in New Delhi. Their booth saw a huge footfall of eager visitors looking to try plant-based meat products for the first time. Visitors from the US and Africa who tasted the products were taken by surprise at how close the plant-based meat tasted to their animal-based counterparts. Various esteemed dignitaries also stopped by the Vezlay booth to try their products.

The India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) awarded the first prize to Vezlay Foods for Excellence in Display in the 37th AAHAR (International Food and Hospitality Fair) 2023. Commenting on this memorable feat, Bajaj said, “Receiving this prestigious award is a moment of great pride for us. We would like to thank the ITPO Aahar for their recognition and encouragement. Vezlay will continue to work towards creating new and innovative products in the plant-based foods space and contribute towards creating a sustainable and healthy future for coming generations.”

Commenting on their experience at the event, he added, “AAHAR provided us with a platform to reach more consumers and enabled us to exhibit our products to a huge crowd. Attending the event was an enriching experience. We would like to thank the ITPO for organizing this large-scale event that brought the best in the food business under one roof and wishes them luck for the future.”

Based in New Delhi, Vezlay Foods aims to provide healthy and easy-to-digest foods with the taste and texture of chicken in a cost-effective manner allowing consumers to enjoy life healthily.
