Presently the company is managed by young dedicated engineers with a combined experience of 60 years in the snacks food engineering field.

SM Food Engineering aims to provide modern, reliable and authentic solution at an affordable price its customers. They design and manufacture equipment through thorough calculations and iterating their experience for seasoning, conveying, frying, coating, and inspection.

They manufacture equipment for nuts, pellets, potato chips, French fries, soya sticks, boondi, aaloo bhujiya and moong dal among others. The equipment include flavor drum,de oiling conveyor,pellet fryer,flavor applicator,hopper vibrator and many more catering to the snack food industry.

Talking about the company, Vinod Dodia, director sales,SM Food Engineering, said, “We are into manufacturing of snack food processing machinery, mainly frying system and seasoning systems. Our team is highly experience in this segment.”

Sharing details regarding the work done by the company, he added, “In the past three years, we have been continuously adding new automation and equipment like water recirculation systems, dynamic link systems on flavoring and the kettle chip line. We manufacture equipment as per the product requirement of our customers. We are closely associated with major brands like Haldiram’s ,Balaji and manufacture equipment according to their products.”

Focus on innovation and technology enhancement

Elaborating on the aspect of innovation, he said, “We manufacture kettle chip lines which are not manufactured by anyone else in India. We are enhancing our technology to allow more automation and capacity enhancement. From making small fryers earlier, we have moved on to manufacture big capacity fryers. I think in India, no one is making fryers in the capacity and automation like we do."
