Sid’s Farm, a D2C dairy brand based in Telangana, has announced the launch of 'Probiotic Natural Curd', which is made using pure milk and curd culture. The product will be initially available only on Sid’s Farm App for its customers in Telangana. 400 gm cups of Probiotic Natural Curd will be available at an economical price of INR 80. Sid’s Farm launched its A2 Desi Cow Ghee last month, which received an astounding response from consumers. Sid’s Farm is an established premium dairy brand, which is available in stores around Hyderabad and also through e-commerce sites in Bengaluru, serving milk and regular-use dairy products like paneer, curd, ghee, and butter. Sid’s Farm, with its unique offering, allows customers to choose from cow and buffalo milk and dairy products depending upon their preference.

The prominence of curd in the Indian gastronomic scape is primordial; not only due to its palatable attributes rather for being dense with nutrients. Curd is known to be rich in calcium, vitamin B2, vitamin B12, potassium, and magnesium which aids in preserving bone density and supplying antioxidants for cell reparation. In addition to this, it contains a higher proportion of protein and fat, which are essential for daily nutritional requirements for human performance in day-to-day life.

Enthusiastic at the launch of Probiotic Natural Curd, Kishore Indukuri, founder and managing director, Sid’s Farm, said, “Curd is an indispensable part of our daily meals. I am certain that every fellow citizen would agree that our mothers and grandmothers had constantly insisted on the consumption of curd in our meals every day because of its contribution to gut and bone health.” He added, “Sid’s Farm Probiotic Curd is a great source of protein, calcium, and gut-friendly bacteria, which is essential for our well-being. It will strengthen your immunity and reduce the risk of infection and the incidence of various diseases”. Indukuri restated, “For us, at Sid’s Farm quality of our products is given the highest priority, thus the Probiotic Natural Curd is fermented through advanced and hygienic modes of preparing the product.”

The ‘National Milk Safety and Quality Survey 2018’ found harmful contaminants, such as aflatoxin-M1, antibiotics, and pesticides in several milk brands. Even FSSAI revealed that only 62.3% of milk sold meets the standard, which is far below the global average. Thus the availability of premium quality pure curd is the need of the hour. Sid’s Farm offers its consumers the exceptional opportunity to choose from the best available milk and dairy products in this regard that is produced through the evolved tech-based approach. The consumer is getting more aware with time and needs the right choice to purchase a high-quality curd, free from chemicals, antibiotics, and other adulteration, which in actuality will provide them with health benefits.
