Azelis, a leading innovation service provider in the specialty chemicals and food ingredients industry, is pleased to announce a distributor partnership with Royal DSM (“DSM”), a global leader in health and nutrition. Effective immediately, this mandate strengthens and expands Azelis Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare’s lateral value chain in India with the addition of DSM’s complete range of vitamins for use in pharmaceutical solutions.

DSM is a purpose-led science-based global company headquartered in Europe with more than 150 years of history. The company specializes in solutions for human and animal health and nutrition and, as the world’s largest vitamin producer, has developed an extensive portfolio of fat and water soluble vitamins offering the highest quality and sustainability credentials.

Vitamins are crucial for every life stage and integral to physical well-being. This partnership builds on Azelis India’s existing relationship with DSM, which already includes distribution of its market-leading enzymes and cultures portfolio for the food and beverage industry, and also allows Azelis to offer additional solutions in order to meet growing consumer demand.

Anand Diwanji, director, Human Nutrition and Care- South Asia, DSM, comments, “We are pleased to extend our partnership with Azelis and provide our customers with the exceptional service to reliably support their entire product life cycle. We at DSM believe, more than ingredients, it takes a partner to support the creation of the next generation of pharmaceutical products. With Azelis on board, we’ve created an ecosystem designed to help our customers benefit from the quality and highest sustainability credentials of our complete vitamins range and succeed in India.”

Aparna Khurana, Azelis India managing director, adds, “Demand in India is growing, especially post COVID-19, now that consumers are more focused and place greater importance on solutions that prevent illness and maintain health. DSM’s vitamins portfolio is an excellent addition to our offering, and when combined with our technical knowledge, we anticipate great business opportunities for growth with this new partnership with DSM.”
