WellBe Foods, a leading Bengaluru-based direct-to-consumer brand specializing in clean food choices, has expanded its presence in Hyderabad, marking a significant step in its regional growth strategy. As a part of this plan, the brand will be available in over 9000 general trade (GT) stores throughout the city. With this move, WellBe will also become the first clean-label snacks brand with a ‘No Nasties’ promise to foray into the GT market in India

This milestone is in line with WellBe Foods' strategic initiative to reach 25,000 general trade stores throughout South India by the end of FY 2024-25. With the current launch, the company aims to clock 50% growth year-on-year from the Hyderabad market. The company decided to expand its footprint in Hyderabad after its success with 300 stores across various channels, including regional chains, SMAT, and Modern Trade.

By expanding into this crucial GT channel, WellBe Foods aims to offer its signature snacks—Kodbale, Khara Ompudi, Khara Sev, Ribbon Pakoda, and Murukku—in convenient 25-gram packs priced at ₹10 each, making its better choice snacks range, with ‘No Nasties’ such as palm oil & maida to a wider audience.

Since its inception in 2020, WellBe Foods has grown from a presence in 13 stores to a network of 1700 stores across major cities, including Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Vizag, and Vijayawada. Supported by key retail partners like The Organic World, Lulu, Spar, Nature’s Basket, Ratnadeep, Pothy’s, More and Spencer’s, the brand continues to emphasize its commitment to wellness through natural ingredients and adherence to its “No Nasties” promise. All products are free from chemically refined oil, artificial colors, flavors & sweeteners, high fructose syrup and synthetic preservatives and antioxidants, aligning with the brand’s commitment to health and quality.
