Honorable Uday Samant, Cabinet Minister of Industries Department, Government of Maharashtra, will inaugurate the 5th edition of Contract Manufacturing & Private Label (CMPL) Expo scheduled from 4 to 5 May at the Jio World Convention Centre, BKC, Mumbai.
Contract Manufacturing & Private Label (CMPL) Expo is one of India's largest contract manufacturing & private label supplier sourcing platforms that helped many businesses to suffice their procurement needs. CMPL platform connects retailers, D2C brands, contract manufacturers, ingredients and raw material suppliers, FMCG brand owners, specialty retailers, pharmacy chains, exporters, packaging suppliers, and other industry players. It has today successfully created an ecosystem for the industry to connect and drive business opportunities for all stakeholders under one roof. The Expo majorly covers four segments viz Food, Non-Food, Packaging and Ingredients.
According to the press note, the 5th edition of CMPL Expo will witness the participation of more than 300 premium contract manufacturing exhibitors. More than 12000 trade visitors are expected to attend the expo.
The visitors will witness this year's main highlight - the incorporation of trade offices of foreign consulates through the "International Trade Pavilion" with sole support from the "Chamber for Advancement of Small & Medium Businesses".
Besides Uday Samant as a Chief Guest, the event will have the presence of high dignitaries as "Guest of Honour" at the inauguration. These will include Hon Tolhah Ubaidi, Acting Consul General, Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia, Mumbai Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Indonesia; Hon Nugroho Priyo Pratomo, director - Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC), Chennai Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia; Hon Norman Dzulkarnain Nasri, Trade Consul / Commissioner – MATRADE Mumbai (Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation), Ministry of International Trade & Industry (MITI) Govt of Malaysia; and Ajay Vashi, Ex R & D Head, HUL & Lakme, India.
Further, the event aims to promote small and medium businesses by giving them the exposure to expand in international markets.
