As Diwali approaches, Bikano, one of India’s leading snack and sweets brands, is poised to capitalize on the festive season by unveiling an enticing array of delights such as Royal, Anmol, Shahi Nazrana, Blissful Bites, Festive Feast and many more. With its latest expansion efforts and innovative product lines, Bikano aims not only to light up the festival of Diwali but also to strengthen its business foothold, especially in newer regions like South India.

Bikano’s strategic focus this Diwali is clear—leverage its growing market presence through key investments in infrastructure and product innovation. Following the inauguration of a manufacturing plant in Hyderabad in 2022, the brand has launched products catering specifically to the southern palate, aiming to penetrate the markets of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and beyond. Additionally, the recent establishment of a 300+ crore facility in Greater Noida is expected to significantly boost production capacity and reduce costs, with the brand targeting a turnover of over Rs 300 crore in FY 24-25. This expansion will enhance service delivery and cut transportation costs, positioning Bikano to meet the rising consumer demand not only in North India but also in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities nationwide.

Commenting on the company’s Diwali plans, Manish Aggarwal, director of Bikano, Bikanervala Foods, said, “This Diwali, we are confident of delivering not only exceptional products but also maintain sustainable growth. Our company has quickly responded to changing consumer behavior, reflected in our impressive 25% surge in sales last year, which has set a strong foundation for the festive season that began with Rakshabandhan. With our recent expansion into South India and the inauguration of a new state-of-the-art facility in Greater Noida, we are well-equipped to efficiently meet the increasing demand for quality snacks and sweets. Furthermore, we are focusing on expanding our manufacturing facilities, strengthening our global presence with frozen products, and upholding the highest standards of product quality and safety, ensuring that our offerings resonate with consumers across the country.”

The festive season is a significant business period for FMCG brands, and the numbers back it up. According to a LocalCircles survey, around 50% of urban Indian households plan to spend more than Rs 10,000 this festive season, leading to an estimated Rs 1.85 lakh crore ($22 billion) in consumer spending. Bikano is gearing up to capture a substantial slice of this market by offering value-for-money products without compromising on quality, a key factor influencing consumer choices this year.

Kush Aggarwal, head of Marketing at Bikano, added, “The festive season is not only a time of celebration but also a crucial period for businesses like ours to grow. Our marketing strategy is designed to highlight our new products and engage consumers effectively. With premium yet affordable options catering to festive needs, we expect strong demand and a positive impact on our business outcomes.”

In addition to launching these festive products, Bikano’s investments in streamlining logistics, cutting transportation costs, and enhancing service delivery reflect the brand's commitment to scalability and efficiency. As the company continues its push into new markets, its dual focus on product innovation and regional expansion underscores Bikano’s vision of becoming a household name not just during Diwali, but throughout the year.

As India’s festive market comes alive, Bikano is poised to illuminate Diwali celebrations while making remarkable progress in its ongoing business expansion, achieving both customer satisfaction and operational excellence. In addition to the previously mentioned delights, this year’s Diwali offerings will feature an impressive range of products including Anupam, Baked Delight, Uttam, Rasmol, Meetha Chatpata, Uphaar, Utsav, Tarang, Abhinandan, Umang, Albela, Kaju Barfi, Kaju Dhoda Barfi, Soan Papdi, Gulab Jamun, and Laddu.
